We are seeking a dedicated Director of Rehabilitation to join our team in a long-term care facility. This full-time position, Monday through Friday, offers an exciting opportunity for an entry-level therapist interested in advancing into a leadership role. The ideal candidate will hold one of the following credentials: PT, PTA, OT, OTA, SLP or SLPA
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the rehabilitation department, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
- Supervise and mentor therapy staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Coordinate therapy services and schedules to meet the needs of residents and facility goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid credential as a PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP. SLPA
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred but not required; entry-level candidates with strong potential for leadership are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Passion for improving the lives of residents through rehabilitation services.
