We're seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Associate to join our event fundraising firm. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to meaningful causes, then this opportunity is tailored for you
As a Marketing and Communications Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote our fundraising events and initiatives.
- Crafting compelling content for various channels, including social media, email, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partners.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.
- Engaging with the community and media to raise awareness about our events and causes.
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and managing content for social media, website, email campaigns, and other communication channels.
- Developing press releases and coordinating with media outlets to secure coverage for events.
- Assisting in organizing and promoting fundraising events, including logistical support and on-site coordination.
- Maintaining relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners through regular communication and updates.
- Monitoring social media and other communication channels to engage with the audience and respond to inquiries.
- Supporting the development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional videos.
- Analyzing the success of marketing campaigns and communication efforts, using data to inform future strategies.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for events.
