Company Description:

Plastic Molding Technology leverages its three strategic locations to provide engineering expertise and full-service solutions within our core capabilities of injection molding, thermoforming and extrusion. The Shipping and Receiving Administrator assists the shipping lead to ensure the proper shipment and receipt of all incoming and outgoing materials.

What you’ll do:

  • Practice safe forklift operation, follow all safety indications
  • Count parts to be shipped per customer requirements and perform visual inspection of parts to ensure quality
  • Review open pick tickets for shipments required
  • Maintain incoming and outgoing shipment logs for computer data entry
  • Perform materials staging and preparation for shipping ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Review daily priorities based on customer due dates
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss safety, work, products, etc.
  • Audit all outgoing shipments
  • Participate in cycle counting activities as needed
  • Ensure FIFO principles are followed
  • Transmit ASN/Packing Lists to Customers as needed
  • Contact and coordinate carriers for pickups daily
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of shipping and receiving experience
  • Speak, read & write English
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Ability to follow detailed directions
  • Ability to become Forklift certified
  • Computer proficiency
  • Candidate must have demonstrated data entry skills
  • Candidate must have highly effective communication skills
