About the Team

You will be joining the experienced and dedicated Regulatory Compliance/Licensing team. This team works with Executives, Sales, and Field Services to maintain gaming licenses. This team is vital to the business and its future growth opportunities.

Summary

This position ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Tribal Gaming licensing requirements, regulations, and ordinances. Assists the team in completing and submitting all documentation related to gaming applications for the company, its subsidiaries, the executive team, and field personnel. In a strictly confidential manner, helps the other members of the team responsible for filling corporate, principal, sales, and technician applications, and compiling all data associated while acting as liaison between the different team members, departments, the company, and its external service providers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Possess an understanding of the overall gaming license application process and specifically, the Bluberi process
  • Possess a sense of urgency and understand the implications for failure to meet regulatory deadlines
  • Assist in coordinating and completing all aspects of gaming licensing applications and/or gaming submissions including, but not limited to, completing detailed forms, writing letters, and gathering documentation
  • Obtain the relevant application forms and associated fees from different gaming commissions
  • In a timely and accurate manner, complete each assigned gaming application(s) and report(s) submitted on behalf of the company
  • Create and maintain a binder for each application that includes the application forms and associated exhibits
  • Maintain summary reports, financials and/or database systems
  • Assist in preparing necessary correspondence, documents, check requests and other written communication with gaming regulatory agencies
  • Obtain compacts and ordinances for compliance of corporate-vendor, key-employee, and technician gaming licenses
  • Maintain a record of verbal and written communication with gaming regulatory agencies
  • Act as a liaison within and between various divisions
  • Facilitate onsite regulation interviews/investigations/audits
  • Support company policies and procedures; make appropriate recommendations for process improvement
  • Maintain electronic filing systems according to departmental procedures
  • Maintain and secure confidential information
  • Assist in submitting reports as required by each regulatory agency
  • Any other related duties, as assigned by manager

Required education, experience, and skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
  • Previous licensing and/or regulatory compliance or legal experience preferred, not required
  • Gaming industry knowledge preferred, not required
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite Adobe Acrobat software
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to complete tasks, as assigned, in a timely manner with high quality results
  • Work is error free
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in conducting internet research
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
