  4. Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to facilitate communication and manage expectations.

  8. Budget and Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimal utilization of budgetary funds. Collaborate with senior management to define resource requirements and budget allocations for software development projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or additional certifications in project management, leadership, or business administration are a plus.

  2. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or management role. Proven track record of leading and delivering software development projects from initiation to completion.

  3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. Experience with software development tools and technologies, such as version control systems (e.g., Git), integrated development environments (IDEs), and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

  4. Project Management: Solid understanding of project management principles and practices. Experience with project management tools and techniques for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.

  5. Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team of technical professionals. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with team members and stakeholders. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and findings clearly and concisely.

  6. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Experience addressing risks and issues that may impact project delivery or quality, proactively identifying challenges and implementing contingency plans as needed.
