What You'll Do:

  • Be a Trusted Caregiver: Provide overnight supervision and assist residents with daily living activities like personal hygiene, grooming, and medication administration.
  • Respond with Care: Monitor and address any medical or behavioral needs with compassion and professionalism, following established protocols.
  • Create a Positive Environment: Foster a warm, encouraging atmosphere by promoting social interaction, participation in fun activities, and skill-building opportunities.
  • Stay Organized: Keep detailed records of your observations, incidents, and interventions to ensure our residents receive the best care possible.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and family members to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care.
  • Maintain Comfort: Ensure the living environment is clean, safe, and welcoming by performing light housekeeping duties and regular safety checks.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD or in a caregiving role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic demeanor, especially in challenging situations.
  • A basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures, with a willingness to learn and follow healthcare protocols.

Schedule:

Wednesday to Saturday
