Role Responsibilities:
As a Solar Sales Representative, your primary responsibility entails engaging potential clients, conducting home sales consultations on a daily basis, addressing warm and cold homeowner leads. You'll establish rapport, qualify prospects for a Home Energy Evaluation and Solar Consultation, and offer professional energy efficiency guidance. By excelling in this role, you empower homeowners to significantly reduce or eliminate their monthly electric bills, enhance the value of their homes, and tailor an energy-efficient living environment.
We provide bi-weekly field and classroom training, along with ongoing support from our Management team, to equip you with the confidence and skills needed to achieve your weekly marketing and sales targets. Additionally, you'll receive a performance-based compensation package, offering earning potential commensurate with previous experience, training, and interview performance.
SunStar's Ideal Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals who can:
- Conduct and close Solar Consultation appointments with Residential Homeowners.
- Conduct door-to-door marketing and set up sales consultations for homeowners
- Attend bi-weekly in-person sales team training sessions
- Educate homeowners about the volatility of their current home energy situation and offer Solar and battery solutions
- Provide exceptional, consistent customer service to potential clients.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly Marketing and Sales KPIs
Role Requirements:
- At least 1 year of prior Solar sales experience (entry-level candidates will be directed to the "Appointment Setter" candidate pool)
- Full-time availability, up to 40 hours weekly
- Proficient communication and negotiation skills (bilingualism is advantageous)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
- Possess a valid driver's license and successfully complete a standard Background Check, if applicable
