- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients and formulate treatment plan according to the assessment.
- Share On Call rotation:
- Provides appropriate documentation of patient encounters, completes within a timely manner.
- Demonstrates accuracy in prescribing, preparation, administration and documentation of medications
- Works in cooperation with physicians, co-workers and supervisory staff.
- Consults with supervising physician and/or advises appropriate personnel of situations requiring follow-up attention.
- Functions within limits of office policies, procedures and standards.
- Assures responsibility and accountability for time management encompassing the needs of the clinic and patient
- Ensures compliance with quality improvement policies, procedures and studies.
- Exhibits expertise and skill in understanding, meeting and satisfying the specific needs and behavior of the patient in all age groups.
- Communicates effectively based on the age of the patients.
- Demonstrates attitude of cooperation and professionalism. Promotes positive customer relations and maintains a professional appearance.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops where applicable
- Attends continuing education courses related to area of specialization to remain current in the field where applicable
