Job Summary
TeeVax is looking for a talented Appliance Installer to join our team you will be responsible for the delivery, set-up and installation of a variety of major household appliances. As an Appliance Installer & Delivery Driver, you are a key member of the team You are the final step of the retail transaction and the last person to leave a positive image of the company with our customer. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Install home appliances/equipment
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
  • 1 Year delivery driving experience preferred
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
  • Follow route and schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
  • Ability to operate forklifts, appliance dollies and pallet jacks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50+ LBS


Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck, pickup truck, delivery van, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
