Job Summary:
As a full-time MRI Tech, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and exceptional patient care. This position requires precise operation of MRI equipment and adherence to safety protocols, providing vital support in our imaging department during weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI procedures according to established protocols and standards.
- Prepare patients and imaging areas, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Adhere to strict safety and infection control standards.
- Manage patient documentation and imaging records meticulously.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about imaging procedures and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required.
- Less than 1 year of experience in MRI; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
