Job Description: Responsible for turning conceptual ideas into tangible products that meet both our high standards and customer expectations. You will play a crucial role in the entire product development lifecycle, from initial design to final production.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and interpret design briefs to understand the requirements.
  • Conduct research on user experience, market trends, and product functionality.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Create and iterate design prototypes using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
  • Perform rigorous usability tests and modify designs based on feedback.
  • Evaluate designs against industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, manufacturing, and R&D.
  • Document the design process: drawings, costed BOM, Material Specification Data Sheets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
