Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to leading a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining Talent Management software solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to drive the successful delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of leading development teams.

Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Technical Direction: Provide technical direction and guidance on software design, architecture, and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.

- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.

- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement continuous improvement practices within the engineering team, including process optimization and the adoption of new technologies.

- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring the robustness and scalability of our software solutions.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and development processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Skills:

o Strong proficiency in multiple technology stacks and programming languages.

o Deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

o Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

o Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

o Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

o Experience with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.

o Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is an advantage.
