 MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL COACH (Part Time)

Position Summary: The Volleyball Coach is responsible for being the spiritual leader for the team and program, recruiting within the school, training, and coaching the members of the Volleyball program.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordination of the development and promotion of the Volleyball program.
  • Assess the athlete's skills and give appropriate feedback.
  • Work with the Athletic Director to organize and schedule practice sessions and game times.
  • Teach life skills and develop character.
  • Effectively communicate with the Athletic Director, parents, athletes, and administrators.
  • Assist with organizing uniform distribution and when needed, ordering.
  • Ensure first aid kits are stocked and readily available.
  • Encourage the children to know Christ through prayers, devotions, and activities.


Administrative tasks include ensuring all eligibility documents are completed and submitted. Hold parent/guardian’s meetings and meetings with all athletes. Must follow established procedures in the event of an athlete’s injury. Must always represent the Volleyball program in a consistent and professional manner.

Other Duties: Attend staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance. Collaborate with the Athletic Director. Perform any other related duty as assigned by the Athletic Director, or other appropriate administrators.

Minimum Qualifications: 1-year verifiable age equivalent Volleyball coaching experience is preferred. A proven track record with age-appropriate skill and program development is preferred. First Aid and CPR certification is required for coaching
