Position Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day hands-on implementation of a wide variety of marketing strategies and tactics and helping lead the organization in achieving commercial targets for its products. The position will develop and execute a clear plan of action for how the Company will support in-field effectiveness, focused primarily on customer messaging, customer targeting and revenue traction. The position will ensure GT Medical develops customer-centric messaging, stories, case studies, videos, and presentations, and deploys them effectively across all direct and digital communication streams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years demonstrated success partnering with radiation oncologists, physicists and dosimetrists, and will have a strong understanding of radiotherapy and oncologic markets. In addition, the candidate will have a proven track record of helping drive brand awareness and revenue growth that helped companies achieve long-term strategic goals, including organic growth, acquisition and/or IPO.

The position will build and manage a digital and traditional media strategy for GammaTile to effectively drive awareness of product value and help build an effective bridge between healthcare professionals and their patients in need.


Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and delivery of the Sales Representative messaging platforms for GammaTile.
  • Partner with sales team to understood their needs and build gap assessments to prioritize needs.
  • Manage the Company’s digital and social media programs.
  • Develop deep understanding of the buying audience by gathering insights around the ecommerce market, competitors, industry trends, target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process.
  • Utilize this information to establish best practices for customer targeting and prioritized deliverables and strategies that will drive success.
  • Develop and manage customer acquirement and retention programs.
  • Own build out of a GammaTile Centers of Excellence program drawing upon previous experience or both creating and managing a similar program.
  • Ensure the GammaTile message and brand is optimally positioned at all trade show opportunities.
  • Create product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with the core buying audience.
  • Ensure that product managers have an appropriate understanding of the disease state in order to provide messaging that is effectively used across internal and external communication opportunities.
  • Identify market expansion opportunities for our products and lead coordinated efforts accordingly.
  • Embodies the Company’s Purpose and Shared Values, building a positive and productive team culture.
  • Follow all safety rules and safety procedures.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Authorized to access employee and/or patient PHI and ePHI only as needed for job-related functions.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a life sciences (med device) marketing manager/product manager role.
  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
  • Social media medical marketing strategic & executional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven ability to partner with the sales organization.
  • Excellent Canva.com skills
  • A depth of knowledge in medical device product management, new product development and launch, marketing strategy development.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, in teams and as a sub-team lead.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: this person will regularly work closely with both internal teams and customers on presentations and messaging.
  • Exceptional writing skills that emphasize value storytelling rather than jargon.
  • Hands-on and results-oriented: you’ll own many projects from start to finish • Ability to learn new products and evaluate them in the competitive environment.
  • Energy and enthusiasm to operate within a fast-growing, fast-changing environment.
  • Start-up medical device experience is preferred • Demonstrated experience utilizing analytics to solve and prioritize business challenges.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and synthesis skills.
