The goal of the Outside Sales Representative is to maintain and grow existing relationships with our customer base while cultivating new clients for future growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, grow, and maintain business in the Moberly/Mexico/Hannibal area
  • Local area travel calling on trade professionals such as plumbing and HVAC contractors, builders, and commercial institutions
  • Communicate with customers to identify and understand their product needs; identify and suggest products to meet those needs
  • Maintain communication with existing customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate must be successful, highly motivated, goal-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
  • General computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Has the ability to quickly learn in house operational software
  • Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors and customers
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR

Preferred Experience:

  • Plumbing and/or HVAC industry experience is preferred but priority is on successful sales experience and good communication skills
  • Wholesale sales experience is preferred
