Rotary Booker

General description

The Rotary booker supports or assists the Warranty Administrator, ensuring that all information from the Service department's work is entered into the manufacturer for the purpose of claiming service warranties. She sends and prepares the information and documentation following the processes required by the manufacturer. The Rotary Booker must maintain the highest ethical standards, protecting the image and quality of service of each brand and company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will enter, document, process and track all warranty documentation to ensure proper compliance and verify factory or dealer required criteria.
• You will verify the criteria established by the distributor and stay updated on new requirements.
• You will enter all the necessary information into the system, according to the brand's requirements.
• Will follow up on guarantee payments and will be in charge of determining the issuance of payment.
• Arrange for shipment of parts to the factory or distributor and resubmit all rejected claims promptly.
• Assist with body shop warranty claims and follow up on pending claims.
• Reconcile all escrow receivables and work with the accounting department to obtain payments.
• Track all warranty parts to note repair order number, replacement date, and date the part can be removed.
• Maintaining all service and customer records as required by the Warranty Administrator

Requirements:

• Ability to make decisions, establish priorities and work as a team
• Knowledge of [automotive] brand warranties
• Knowledge and skills in car diagnosis and repair
• Knowledge and skills with the Tekion System [CDK]
• Knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Oral and written communication skills [English and Spanish]
• Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Honored and Ethical Standards
• Organized and Detail Oriented
