Essential Job Duties:
o Troubleshooting, making economical and durable repairs.
o Disassembles and reassembles equipment using hoists, jacks, cranes, hand tools, etc.
o May drive company vehicles to obtain parts and supplies and perform field service work.
o Maintain equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment company wide.

o   Service equipment to include oil changes, greasing, adding fluids, changing filters, and
maintaining preventative maintenance schedules.
o To troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic systems, diesel/gasoline engines,
transmissions, drive trains, etc.
o Be proficient with a multimeter/power probe to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair
12v/24v systems. o Operate equipment to test repairs and diagnose problems.
o Create parts list to complete repairs.
o Maintains a clean and organized work area.
o Operates forklift to move heavy items as needed.
o May operate heavy equipment and trucks as needed for testing purposes if trained.
The employer provides training.
o Examines parts for damage and excessive wear. Fabricates and repairs parts and
materials for maintenance and repair purposes.
o Performs stick welding/wire feed welding if trained.
o Maintain Forklift and Crane certifications


Service Tech experience requirements:

A Service Tech should have 2-5 years previous experience or training. They must also have critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative and valuable solutions to complex maintenance problems. A Service tech should have in-depth knowledge of small engine, diesel engine, hydraulic systems, heavy equipment, and be organized and able to work independently and well with others.
