  • We are looking for a talented and experienced converged voice and data network engineer to join our team and help us design, implement, and maintain our voice and data network solutions.
  • You will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Cisco Call Manager and Unity systems, as well as network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • You will also work closely with other IT staff to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our voice and data network infrastructure.
Job Description:
  • Design, install, and configure Cisco Call Manager and Unity systems, including voice gateways, dial plans, voicemail, call routing, and call recording.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve voice and data network issues, using tools such as Cisco Unified Serviceability, RTMT, CDR, and Wireshark.
  • Perform network maintenance and upgrades, such as firmware updates, patches, backups, and restores.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices, such as firewall rules, VPN access, encryption, and authentication.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and diagrams, using tools such as Visio, Word, and Excel.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff, as well as participate in on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, such as system administrators, security engineers, and application developers, to ensure network compatibility and integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in converged voice and data network engineering, with strong knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and Unity systems.
  • Certification in Cisco CCNA Voice or CCNP Voice, or equivalent.
  • Experience in network design and configuration, including routing, switching, firewall, and VPN technologies.
  • Proficiency in network troubleshooting and analysis tools, such as ping, traceroute, telnet, ssh, and snmp.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with minimal supervision.
