Overview

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Service Coordinator (OTSC)
Location: Massachusetts
Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $84,000 Per Year

Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapy Services Coordinator (OTSC) is responsible for developing and implementing OT goals within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet student needs. The OTSC also supervises Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring systematic evaluation of student progress and programmatic improvements. The OTSC provides both direct and consultative OT services, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement OT goals for IEPs.
  • Supervise OTs and COTAs, providing feedback and ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student OT needs.
  • Collaborate with staff and participate in IEP meetings, training sessions, and professional conferences.
  • Assist with vocational training and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Ensure the organization and presentation of OT and Life Skills rooms.
  • Maintain communication with parents, staff, and supervisors regarding OT needs.
  • Support staff training and development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Massachusetts OT license and National Board certification.
  • Preferred: Behavior analytic certification and licensure.
  • At least 2 years of OT and supervisory experience in autism, education, or ABA.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, pivot, squat, kneel, and move quickly to intervene when necessary.
  • Completion of CALM training, which includes specific physical requirements.
