What you will do in this role:

  • Source products from domestic/international vendors.
  • Complete feasibility studies for pricing on product lines.
  • Help direct the designing and developing of prototypes in-house or overseas.
  • Ensure thorough product testing and Quality Control on new products.
  • Work with photo and video team to create appealing images, videos, and marketing assets.
  • Forecast and balance inventory needs for normal product sales, holiday sales, seasonal product sales.
  • Maintain high quality products through product reviews, Q&A, warranty returns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

How you will thrive in this role:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications or coursework is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a sourcing specialist or procurement professional, with a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and supply chain processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of the powersport industry, including familiarity with powersport equipment, parts, accessories, and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements with powersport industry suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze market data, evaluate supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to achieving departmental goals and driving continuous improvement in the sourcing process within the powersport industry.

Physical Demands:

Position performance will require the regular physical ability to walk and function in elevation changes means of self-propulsion to include steps, ladders, and varied walking and working surfaces. Ability to negotiate warehouse work areas in a safe manner and behavior. Vision abilities specific to the position will include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Performing in this role will require the use of hands to use and handle tools, objects, materials, and controls. Performance requires the frequent ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee may have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
