  • Manage the product portfolios, product roadmaps, and product specifications.
  • Working directly with the R&D Engineering and Operation teams to drive the new production introduction (NPI) process.
  • Work closely with the sales team, acquire the Voice of Customers (VOC) in the product creation process.
  • Provide Sales with engineering and product support to ensure customer requests and product inquiries are adequately addressed.
  • Work with internal teams to achieve product performance, cost, yield targets, and reliability qualification.
  • Develop, document, execute and maintain product specifications in the product database.
  • Support marketing in website improvements such as product contents and technology blogs.
  • Coordinate with Operations to monitor the yield to ensure the performance and implement corrective actions for deviations while providing continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Application Engineer on failure analysis of defective products either through hands-on evaluation or interaction with Eng & Ops.
  • Assist with the continual improvement and creation of documenting for product management.
  • Independently and collaboratively develop technical information; write application notes and product information sheets.
Qualifications:
  • General Product Management and Product Marketing
  • Technical knowledge about laser technologies and photonics
  • Hands-on laser testing and product engineering experience
  • Failure analysis of laser diodes and/or other semiconductor devices
  • Experienced with new product introductions
  • Technical support to sales and business development
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Physics or Optics with minimal 5 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
  • Must be hands-on, self-motivated, and able to work as a team member or as an individual contributor.
  • Fluent in English with good technical writing skills
  • Currently eligible to work in the US (permanent resident or citizen)
  • Ability to travel to trade shows and customer visits both domestic and international.
