Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are currently searching for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team

Available shift is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The Company: Ericson Manufacturing engineers and manufactures temporary power, lighting and safety electrical products for your workplace. Family owned and operated since 1918, our mission is to safeguard your jobsite with quality and innovative solutions with a commitment to safety, ease of use and reliability.The Job: Responsible for preparing outbound products for shipment including coordination of outside carriers. As well as receiving & processing inbound shipments from supplier network. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for accurately pulling product and quantities needed to fulfill customer orders.
  • Process shipments into ERP system throughout the day.
  • Preparation of product (cartons, packing material & palletization) for outbound shipment to ensure safe arrival at destination.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Responsible for processing inbound receipts from suppliers required to support production schedules and outbound customer shipments.
  • Ensure that receipts are accurately entered into the ERP system.
  • Forward receipts as required to QA Department for further processing.
  • Advise purchase order requestor of receiving discrepancies; participate in resolution as needed.
  • Receive cross-training in other shipping/warehouse areas and perform those duties as needed
  • Operate various equipment, such as pallet jack and reach truck, etc.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in shipping / receiving / warehousing operations required.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a good attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial nature: self-directed, goal-oriented, customer focused.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Tow motor experience required.
