A Code and Configuration Change Manager is responsible for overseeing the setup, maintenance, and optimization of test environments used in software development and testing. This role is crucial in ensuring that test environments are reliable and ready for use, ultimately supporting the successful delivery of high-quality software products.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure environments are up-to-date with the latest code and configurations
- Work closely with developers, testers, and operations teams to understand their environment needs and resolve any related issues
- Communicate changes, updates, and issues effectively across teams
- Facilitate regular meetings to discuss environment status, upcoming changes, and potential risks
- Ensure that all changes are version-controlled and documented
- Validate the integrity and consistency of test environments after changes
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of environments to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
- Identify and resolve environment-related issues promptly
- Provide support during testing phases, including troubleshooting configuration and deployment issues
- Maintain a log of issues and resolutions for future reference
- Document environment configurations, change management processes, and issue resolutions
- Generate reports on environment status, change history, and performance metrics
- Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
- Host a daily change review meeting and send out release notes, documenting all changes
- 3-month environment plan

Work Environment:
This position is 25% onsite at corporate location for testing and deployments. There may be times that the employee will be onsite 100%, due to project requirements. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 60lbs across the building and to other offsite buildings for various project needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or general equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience
Qualifications:

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo)
