Thermcraft is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. This role focuses on seamlessly integrating and supporting various technical components, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

Summary: Join Thermcraft as an Electrical Technician, where you will play a key role in seamlessly integrating various technical components, electrical and mechanical systems, and providing on-site support for IT. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate documentation. If you have a background in electrical engineering or a related field, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Essential Functions:

System Integration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse technical components seamlessly.
  • Ensure smooth interactions between electrical and mechanical systems.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with end-users to address technical integration needs.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of technical integration processes.
  • Fulfills all sign-off sheets and Electronic/Electrical Quality Check Sheets.
  • Utilize relevant software tools for documentation purposes.
Requirements:

Competencies and Attributes Needed:

  • Associate degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Information Technology, etc.) or 2 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience in technical integration or related roles.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and relevant software applications.
  • Solid work experience in electrical panel layout and wiring. i.e., Relays, fuses, and Circuit Breakers
  • Significant working knowledge of industrial electrical principles and theories.
  • Use instructions, drawings, schematics, and specifications to wire furnaces, control cabinets and associated components
  • Have keen knowledge of electrical circuitries.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and production drawings.
  • Able to operate and interpret industrial electronic /electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to perform circuit troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail; have good problem solving and communication skills; commit to following instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess strong general mechanical skills, including drilling and tapping mounting holes; be proficient with hand tools (such as drills, screwdrivers, cutting tools, calipers, micrometers, etc.), conducting electrical testing using voltage meters, and operating table saws and drill presses.
  • Use forklift, crane, and other moving devices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit, stand, and have the physical ability to climb on, in or under any equipment
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
