Position Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Direct Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a variety of cleaning tasks and enjoys working on diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a range of project-based cleaning tasks including power washing, window cleaning, carpet washing, floor waxing & sealing etc. This role requires a flexible schedule and the willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.


Shift: Part-time, guaranteed 30 hrs per week, on occasion will have to cover more hours, 4 to 6 hrs a day, Monday to Friday, and weekends either a Saturday or Sunday, depending on the need.


Location: Multiple locations

Incentives: Mileage reimbursement


Common duties for this job: (including but not limited to)


Coverage (Scheduled and On-call)

  • Covering an account involves cleaning the account by doing the regular cleaning tasks within the allocated time of that account


Specific Tasks requests (Scheduled and On-Call)

  • "Specific task requests" are similar to regular cleaning services, but they may involve different types of cleaning tasks requested by the client. For example, window cleaning or cleaning of areas that are not part of the regular cleaning schedule and are not typically done by the regular cleaner on site.


Support Cleaning

  • Support Cleaning involves helping current accounts with details such as weekly and monthly tasks


Deliveries

  • Deliveries would involve delivering needed supplies or equipment to accounts, picking up equipment from accounts and taking it back to the office, refilling chemicals, picking up dirty rags and exchanging for clean ones


Project Work

  • Expertise in various project-based cleaning tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Deep Cleaning/Disinfecting
    • Power washing
    • Window cleaning
    • Carpet Washing
    • Waxing and sealing floors
    • Fleet washing 


Qualifications: 


  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability and willingness to travel to multiple locations (a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required)
  • Ability to use a smartphone to text, take pictures, take videos, and use various apps used by Juniper Cleaning (training in apps will be provided)
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and have a good attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Have a decent cleaning production rate
  • Knowledge of general cleaning, cleaning chemicals, and cleaning equipment
  • Ability to clean glass and use window cleaning equipment such as an applicator and squeegee
  • Proficient in using cleaning equipment and products relevant to specialty cleaning tasks
