Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Lead Security Engineer. This self-starter will possess a comprehensive understanding of F5 Application Security Manager (ASM) and expertise in protecting systems with Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies. The Senior Lead Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage F5 ASM and WAF policies in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Optimize network protocols, load balancing techniques, and complex architectures for performance and security.
  • Lead and manage security projects, ensuring precision and accountability in delivering results within deadlines.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network security issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mentor and motivate team members, providing guidance and support.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with F5 ASM, WAF, and iApps.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing advanced network security systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP), load balancing techniques, and complex architectures.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead projects effectively.
  • Expert-level knowledge of F5 Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Application Security Manager (ASM).
  • Familiarity with network security architectures, including DMZs, VPNs, and segmentation.
  • Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Splunk, ELK stack).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating network tasks and configurations.
  • Understanding of security compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices.
