The Finance Department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a full-time Financial Analyst. This posting is open to both internal and external candidates.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Analyze data for use in developing company forecasts, addressing business issues, and supporting business strategies.
- Preparation and presentation of the annual corporate operating budget.
- Preparation and presentation/communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly for management.
- Collaborate closely with corporate leadership in management of all financial aspects of the departments.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models.
- Many other interesting and challenging projects.
Qualifications
The Financial Analyst position requires:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Two years of related work experience in the financial industry.
- Familiarity with accounting principles, accounting and budgeting practices and procedures.
- Ability to analyze financial data and trends to make informed recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications).
Internal candidates should have acceptable job performance and a good attendance record in their current position and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
