As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in developing and applying accounting policies and procedures that ensure accurate, timely, reliable financial information is deployed throughout the organization.

What you’ll do:
 
  • This is a key role in assisting functional accounting initiatives including system changes, policy and procedure documentation, and other process improvements.
  • Assist in the enhancement of the monthly closing processes.
  • Review general ledger accounts and prepare monthly general ledger journal entries, adjusting entries, reversing entries and accruals.
  • Review the trial balance and monthly trends as part of the monthly review process. Prepare in period adjusting entries as necessary.

Experience you need to bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or associate degree in accounting with 2+ years hands on experience.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Experience with system changes/implementations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
