Job Overview:

The Product Development Principal will report to the Vice President of Product Development and Fulfillment. This position will be responsible for managing initiatives along the full product lifecycle of cellular mobility and other product lines being considered including the project and change management required to launch and enhance products. This position must ensure that products are user-centric, high quality, competitively positioned while also providing reasonable margins and that the organizational change required to launch new products is well managed.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work with cross-functional teams to bring new products and features to life.
  • Manage products in various life cycle stages and transitions.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to measure success plus identify areas of improvement.
  • Create documents with competitive analysis and pricing recommendations.
  • Present go to market strategy to leadership.
  • Participate in or run short-term experiments to determine product/feature desirability, feasibility, or viability.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with all relevant departments regarding go-to-market strategies.
  • Create and deliver compelling communication on full product lifecycle matters.
  • Manage items within the product roadmap for major and minor releases.
  • Be able to operate, if needed, in the role of a project manager or team leader as required to deliver new products and features.


Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Alignment with and passion for Patriot Mobile's causes.
  • Knowledgeable about mobility technology and telecommunications industry.
  • Be adept at collaboration and planning within product teams.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • 2-3 years industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field from a regionally accredited university or college preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Product Manager preferred.
  • Previous experience in the cellular mobility industry preferred.
  • Product Management certification a plus.
  • Project management or agile methodology certification a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and data base management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be willing to work in an office full-time.
