The Role

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our innovative Workflows Team. You will be responsible for the stability of our products used daily by our internal and external users. In this role, you will collaborate with Product to ensure comprehensive test coverage for our core user workflows. You will develop and maintain automated tests for our web applications, including contract tests, integration tests, load tests, and end-to-end tests. Core Responsibilities

  • You will write and run tests across various testing methodologies to improve the stability and performance of our applications
  • You will work with the team and Product to ensure that our backend for the frontend is stable and performant and breaking changes are caught early.
  • Work with Product to ensure core user workflows are tested and we can deploy new features with confidence
  • Collaborate and work with other engineering teams to ensure our system's contracts are reliable
  • Work with the team to improve deployment cadence, reduce error regressions, and assist in bug triage

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years experience with Typescript, Javascript (Jest, Playwright or similar testing frameworks)
  • 2+ years experience with CI/CD & automated testing
  • An understanding of the values/drawbacks of different testing strategies
  • Built web apps, and/or developer tools, a plus

Our Tech Stack

  • Node.js/NestJS REST API, with Prisma ORM & Postgres, Kafka (MSK), hosted on AWS with k8s
  • Nuxt/Vue.js PWAs, hosted on Cloudflare with Cloudflare Workers/Pages
  • Testing with Jest, Vitest, Playwright and Cypress
  • Auth0, JWT for authentication/authorization
  • Gitlab, Slack, Notion, Figma, Datadog, AWS Athena, Jira
  • Design system with Vue/Tailwind(Unocss) component library
