The Family Intervention Specialist Supervisor oversees a team dedicated to providing comprehensive support and intervention services to families in need. This role combines direct service provision with supervisory responsibilities to ensure effective delivery of family intervention programs and services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BA in related field. Special Skills: Basic knowledge of substance abuse treatment; working knowledge of community resources; advocating skills; strong people skills to provide excellent internal and external customer service.

Preferred: Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Supervise a team of Family Intervention Specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality service delivery. Coordinate and oversee the implementation of family intervention programs, ensuring adherence to program goals, objectives, and protocols.
  • Conduct regular case reviews and consultations to assess client progress, identify challenges, and provide clinical supervision as needed. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate holistic care planning and service coordination for families.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to family intervention services.
  • Provide crisis intervention support and consultation to team members, families, and community partners as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, interventions, and progress in accordance with agency standards. Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment that promotes professional growth, development, and teamwork among staff. Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes to maintain a competent and effective team.
