We're looking for an experienced BI Analyst/Power BI developer with at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience specifically with Power BI. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in our data analysis and visualization efforts, transforming complex data into actionable insights for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the business needs for data analysis and reporting.
- Utilize your expertise to design and develop visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Ensure that the visualizations and dashboards you create are optimized for performance and can handle high concurrent user loads.
- The majority of your time (70%) will be spent on developing BI visualizations and refining the underlying data layer.
- Build and maintain data models, focusing on data integrity and accuracy to provide reliable insights.
- Dive deep into data analysis to uncover valuable insights and trends, offering actionable recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Identify and implement effective data integration and ETL processes to streamline data consolidation from multiple sources.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting for Power BI-related queries, working closely with business teams to address their data needs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in BI and data visualization, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our data analysis processes.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, with a strong focus on Power BI.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
- Have a solid understanding of databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
- Prior experience in data integration and ETL processes is essential.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
