Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to conduct comprehensive data privacy assessments, identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps in their data handling practices.
- Design and implement data privacy programs and strategies aligned with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other relevant privacy laws.
- Develop and maintain data protection policies, procedures, and documentation frameworks to safeguard personal and sensitive data.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) to evaluate risks associated with data processing activities.
- Provide consultancy on data privacy best practices, controls, and technologies to mitigate privacy risks and enhance data protection measures.
- Assist clients in responding to data subject access requests (DSARs), privacy incidents, and regulatory inquiries related to data privacy compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, IT security, and compliance departments to integrate data privacy requirements into business processes and systems.
- Monitor changes in data privacy laws and regulations, assess their impact on client operations, and provide guidance on compliance updates and requirements.
- Conduct training and awareness programs on data privacy principles, policies, and compliance requirements for employees and stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposal writing, and presenting data privacy capabilities and solutions.
