GSW Manufacturing, Inc., an international manufacturer and technology developer serving the automotive industry, is seeking a high energy, organized, and project orientated fulltime summer Engineering Intern based out of the GSW Headquarters in Findlay, Ohio. (www.gswiring.com)

  • Collaboration with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure Bill of Materials (BOMs) align with project requirements and specifications.
  • Opportunities to impact the business include engineering processes, working closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between BOMs and supplier information.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints.
  • Familiarity with engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of BOM management and inventory control software is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter and not afraid of taking the initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Japanese is a plus.

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Studying toward a degree in Engineering, (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field) or a recent graduate.
