Position Qualities:

  • This position is required to work 5 days onsite
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Utilizes proper telephone etiquette
  • Actively listens in order to best handle calls and forwards messages in a timely manner
  • Facilitates onsite vendor building entry in collaboration with Plant Ops and Allied Security Guard
  • Assist onsite guests with directions, questions and/or needed escalations.
  • Answers, documents and escalates as needed to designated dept. all calls received via the front desk.
  • Assists with maintaining the front desk and all office areas.
  • Completes paper processes such as scanning and mailing claims, itemized statements, medical records, etc. along with appropriate documentation
  • Maintains and complies with audits, HIPAA, best practice and internal controls.
  • Attention to detail
  • Good time management skills and the ability to multitask in order to meet deadlines
  • Respond timely and professionally to questions and emails
  • Utilizes all available resources to perform daily tasks efficiently
  • Demonstrates a positive and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work closely with team members to achieve company goals

  • Meets productivity standards for current role
  • Exercises basic knowledge of computer system.

Qualifications

License or Certification:

- None

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred

- Preferred 2 years previous business office billing and collection experience

- Knowledge of UB, 1500 claim forms, CPT codes, HCPC codes, and ICD-10 codes

- Strong third party payor knowledge

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Machines, Equipment Used:

- General office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner

- Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel

Physical Requirements:

- Near vision, visual acuity, speech recognition, speech clarity

- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 15 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling exceeds these minimum requirements

Skills and Abilities:
