Reports to: Accounting Manager
Location: Troy, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Complete cash flow analysis and forecasting -daily, monthly and yearly
  • Perform monthly, half-year and yearly financial closing duties
  • Conduct internal and external audits
  • Approve EAs
  • Process vendor payments as scheduled in a timely manner
  • Research and resolve payment issues by tracking payment history and monitoring daily bank balance and transactions
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Coordinate day-to-day accounts payable duties, collaborating with cross-functional members within the company
  • Perform leased asset registration in the accounting system and ensure its accuracy and completeness
  • File and organize AP documents
  • Communicate with vendors, update and maintain vendor information and documentation
  • Assist departmental coordinators with accounting-related matters and questions
  • Prepare monthly HQ reports and other ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Engage in direct communication with company headquarters’ Treasury Team
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
    1. Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
    2. Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance or other related fields or equivalent, relevant experience

Experience:

  • 1 to 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in manufacturing desired
  • Experience with SAP software preferred

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Judgment and decision making
  • Complex problem solving
  • High attention to detail
