Summary of Position:

Our laborers provide quality work that integrates a willingness to work with others while exercising safe workplace practices. Responsibilities include good jobsite housekeeping skills, ability to use hand tools and power tools, proper stacking and cleaning of materials, dirt grading and shoveling, stripping and dismantling of basic formwork, assisting with demolition, and doweling and epoxy.

As team members, we ensure that other PCC employees are stocked with the proper materials to do their job, require the use of all safety equipment, and have the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance. In addition to, team members must help carry out PCC project safety policies, practice good safety, and be able to recognize unsafe conditions.

LABORER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
  • Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
  • Ability to set own goals and tasks
  • Ability to work in a cooperative, team environment

LABORER COMPENSATION:

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the salary range for this position will be $17.29 to $25.00 + Profit Sharing. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
