Position Summary:

Perform accounting and clerical functions to support project staff and subcontractors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable processing
  • Job cost verification
  • Subcontractor compliance administration
  • Subcontractor/Vendor communication
  • Coordination/Communication with project staff

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Construction accounting experience required (Minimum 3 years) Sage Timberline experience a major plus
  • Experience with Accounts Payable/Receivable and Job Cost
  • Must be motivated self-starter and work independently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts
  • Excellent accounting problem solving skills, analytical personality.
  • Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet all deadlines in monthly accounting process
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Flexibility and willingness to help
  • Demonstrates sound work ethics

Software Aptitude:

  • Timberline Sage Accounting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
