Job Title: Cloud Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cloud Manager to join our IT team. This position is contingent upon our firm being awarded the contract.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Manager to oversee our cloud infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset. This role involves managing cloud initiatives, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Develop and execute cloud strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud solutions.
  • Manage cloud resources, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Implement best practices for cloud governance, compliance, and cost management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and specialists.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud processes and procedures.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, deployment, and management.
  • Proficiency in cloud security, monitoring, and automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
