What We Are Looking For: We're on the search for an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic Pasta Associate who loves pasta as much as we do If you're reliable, resilient, and have a glass-half-full mindset, we want you on our Team. You should be someone who works well independently and with others, takes pride in your work, and is passionate about cooking pasta from scratch in your own kitchen. Position Summary: As a Pasta Associate at Seed to Table, you'll be the star of our pasta department. You'll be responsible for customer service, making pasta from scratch, and using heavy pasta-making equipment. Your role is essential in ensuring our customers receive the best quality pasta and have an amazing shopping experience. Qualifications: Passionate about pasta and cooking Reliable, trustworthy, and takes pride in their work Works well independently and as part of a team Upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude Resilient with a glass-half-full mindset Must be proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish being a plus Authorized to work in the United States Must be at least 18 years of age Experience with making pasta from scratch and using pasta-making equipment is a plus Physical Requirements: Manual Dexterity: Skilled in both gross and fine manipulation, ensuring precision in handling knives and ingredients Vision Acuity: Peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy are crucial for culinary preparation Hearing Ability: Effectively hear and respond to instructions in a bustling kitchen environment Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Capable of handling and moving objects weighing up to 80 pounds Standing and Walking: Able to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining focus and precision Flexibility and Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move fluidly around the kitchen Tolerance to Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in diverse temperatures (hot, humid, cold) and tolerating moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents Allergy Tolerance: Able to handle a wide variety of fresh ingredients without adverse allergic reactions Step-Stool and Ladder Use: Confidently utilize a step-stool or ladder as needed Physical Balance: Maintain stability and balance while executing tasks efficiently Clear Communication Skills: Convey instructions clearly and communicate with team members effectively, even in busy or noisy environments Reaching Ability: Capable of reaching below the waist, at the waist, and overhead Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that the company does not provide) Must have reliable transportation How to Apply: Ready to embark on an exciting journey with Seed to Table?
