CNC Machinist

As our team continues to grow, we’re looking to add experienced machinists and fabricators to our shop. Our shop floor has a focus on continuous improvement and ongoing education. Our machinists have the opportunity to work on different types of jobs, learn different machines, and continually further their career. We are a certified apprenticeship in New York State, and we utilize local colleges and online courses to supplement training. *Responsibilities:

• Create set-ups for yourself and assist others with their set-ups

• Read blueprints and interpret technical nomenclature on drawings

• Machine parts accurately to drawing dimensions

• Inspect parts to meet quality standards using precision tools

• Meet output and scheduling expectations

• Perform routine maintenance on machines

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a machine shop

• Ability to use G-code programming, troubleshooting and modifying programs as necessary

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, crouch, and sometimes be in awkward positions

• AS9100 Experience
• Blueprint Reading
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

• GD&T
• Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Manual Machining Skills
• Shop Math Skills
• Six Sigma Experience

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)

Salary info:

$22 - $38 / hr
