Care STL Health seeks a full-time Environmental Technician to maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for health care services.

Duties:

  • Clean and sanitize all restrooms daily (i.e. toilets, sinks, and restroom floors), and refill supplies as needed (hand soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue).
  • Damp mop the entire health center on a daily basis and clean baseboards.
  • Vacuum areas of the health center that require it on a daily basis.
  • Pick up trash on the outside of the building and parking lots on a daily basis.
  • Wash windows according to the cleaning schedule.
  • Wash walls according to the cleaning schedule.
  • Wipe down patient care areas on a daily basis.
  • Perform light maintenance.
  • Follow all OSHA guidelines and rules regarding the handling of bio-hazardous waste.
  • Respond to staff calls in a timely fashion

A Successful Candidate:

  • Must be able to maintain a clean healthcare facility.
  • Experience in the areas of carpet cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitizing, bio-hazard handling and window washing is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have reliable transportation

Additional Information:

  • Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • 11 paid holidays per year.
