The Marketing Manager is responsible for all Wanzl Brand and Performance Marketing in North America, including the marketing strategy, planning, asset design, development, and deployment, including analytics, of all marketing activities and campaigns, including digital presence. Reporting to the VP of Sales Enablement, the Marketing Manager role requires creativity, strong communications and organizational skills, planning ability, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be located at the Wanzl North America (WNA) Corporate Center in Denver NC.

WNA, which includes the Technibilt and Cari-All brands, headquartered in Denver, North Carolina. In addition to being the largest manufacturer of shopping carts in North America, WNA has three (3) additional main product segments as well as a Service business, providing turnkey solutions for customer guidance (Access Systems) and Shelving & Fixtures, as well as Material Handling/Rolling Stock products. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Own the Marketing funnel, top to bottom, driving it at every level, from brand positioning, to sell sheets, optimizing the buyer journey from brand awareness through consideration/lead generation.
• Lead all marketing activities in Canada, US & Mexico, including all websites and social media presence.
•Develop Marketing strategies that support the company strategy, and individual business category strategies.
• Devise marketing investment plans, setting KPI’s for marketing investments, and manage performance optimizing Marketing ROI / ROAS.
• Develop marketing narratives based on data insights, use cases, customer successes and unique differentiators.
• Manage the marketing calendar, lead asset & campaign design, development, deployment, including analytics of all marketing activities, including new product launches.
• Work closely with paid media specialists, content marketers, and internal stakeholders to develop influencer and UGC campaigns.
• Work and communicate efficiently with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Legal, Wanzl Group Marketing, etc.)
• Delegate Marketing tasks to key team members based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with internal and external clients as well as other team members, especially related to marketing events, like trade shows, PR events, etc.
• Track performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in both Brand and Performance Marketing, developing strategies and executing plans in both areas.
- Highly skilled and experienced in creating, executing, and measuring B2B marketing strategies and execution across North America (US, Canada & Mexico).
- Ability to make professional Business presentations in writing, through emails and reports, or orally, including presenting complex topics to an executive audience.
- Proven success in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven environment. The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects across the marketing mix of brand marketing, creative development, PR, events, and marketing operations.
- Deep understanding of the digital marketing & advertising space / advertising technology.
- Experience in working with email marketing and programmatic advertising, including push marketing campaigns.
- Good project management skills, with experience managing production of assets according to a planned schedule.
- Experience managing media agencies.
- Creative, able to build support and consensus for ideas.
- The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
- The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Marketing
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Advertising, or Marketing.
- Should have advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, both written (PPT presentations) and oral skills.
- Must have a good understanding of graphic design principles and be proficient with Adobe Suite / Creative Cloud.
- Must be able to travel 10% including international. Skills and Experience:
