Sr Full Stack Engineer

With a focus on innovation and excellence, we are seeking an experienced Sr Full Stack Engineer to join our client, a leading AI-text identification platform.

As a Sr Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in building and shipping responsible AI-powered products to millions of users. You'll help expand our AI-detection and verification platform and create new products, working closely with our ML and design teams to deliver delightful user experiences.


What youll be doing:

  • Building and shipping AI-powered products.
  • Expanding the AI-detection and verification platform.
  • Creating new features, UIs, and APIs.
  • Partnering with ML and design teams to create user experiences.
  • Leading and managing significant projects from backend to UI.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with modern JS web frameworks (React.js, Next.js, and Typescript).
  • 3+ years of experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, and text search).
  • Experience leading significant projects and building end-to-end experiences.
  • Motivated to make a positive societal impact.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and be a leader as the team grows.
  • Visa for work in Canada or the US.


Nice-to-haves:

  • Strong open-source portfolio.
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Experience building Chrome extensions.
  • CS degree from a top university (Ivies, MIT, Stanford, Waterloo, CMU, etc.).
