Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Base function: Striving to ensure the highest quality customer service and preventative maintenance for all common areas, facilities, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on gate equipment, parking lot signage, and upkeep of parking lots and facilities.
- Possess knowledge of local geography for effective enforcement.
- Understand and apply parking regulations.
- Utilize computers and operate motorized vehicles.
- Maintain a courteous and tactful demeanor when interacting with others.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks and equipment service as needed.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence.
- Adaptable to changes in the work environment and able to handle unexpected events.
- Demonstrated judgment and professionalism, especially under pressure.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and talk/listen.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand for long hours, walk long distances, lift heavy objects, and work outside in various elements.
Additional Requirements:
- This is a non-exempt/hourly position.
- Criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing required.
