Responsibilities:

  1. Always provides prompt and courteous food & beverage services to every guest.

  2. Maintains knowledge of restaurant floor layout to serve guests efficiently.

  3. Sets up restaurant tables, chairs and centerpieces neatly before opening.

  4. Stocks service stations with plates, rollups, silverware, glassware, water carafes, sanitizing spray, towels, etc. 

  5. Places propane in space heaters and ensures tanks are full. 

  6. Brings water and food to table in a timely manner.

  7. Demonstrates knowledge of menu items.

  8. Effectively communicates with server regarding guests’ needs and requests.

  9. Informs Supervisor/Manager of any situations that arise or need immediate attention.

  10. Ensures side work is completed in a timely manner and completed prior to end of shift.

  11. Exhibits extreme care when handling dishware, glassware, silverware and food product.

  12. Continually monitors stock levels and obtains supplies and equipment for refreshment bars.

  13. Quickly clears and re-sets tables in between courses and seatings.

  14. Helps set up tables and chairs for large parties as needed. 

  15. Consistently demonstrates the ability to maintain equipment standards and reports any malfunctions immediately.

  16. Always follows department training standards.

  17. Helps to keep the restaurant sanitized up to training standards.

  18. Sanitizes restroom after each use.


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

  2. Must have experience in a guest contact position.

  3. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  4. Prior experience in food service preferred.

  5. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

  6. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
