Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Store Clerk to join our small team You will assist with answering the phones and covering our retail counter, where customers come to drop off and pick up tools for sharpening and/or make purchases from our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a resume and general knowledge of how a retail stores operates.

Responsibilities
  • Answer the phones.
  • Clean tools brought in for sharpening.
  • Collect payment by cash and credit card from customers and carry out customer sales.
  • Create customer invoices, either handwritten or using Quickbooks.
  • Package and ship using UPS, including billing.
  • Wrap sharpened tools and call customers to pick up tools
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
  • Willingness to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to quickly and accurately handle customer payments
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Able to lift 25 pounds
  • Bilingual is a plus
