Mental Health Residential Support Staff

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule:

  • working as needed shifts
  • Weekday: evening and overnight
  • Weekends: day, evening, and overnight
  • Must be available and open to working overnight shifts
  • Commitment to work at least 20 hours per month

Benefits:

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Helps lead recreational, social, and cultural activities
  • Encourages participation and can facilitate other activities as needed for residents who aren’t participating in the planned activities
  • Support residents in their recovery plans and goals
  • Completing documentation
  • Assists with procedures such as urine drug screens, breathalyzers, and medication administration
  • Fill in for our Advisors and Overnight Awake staff as needed

Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience working with adults with mental health challenges
  • At least 21 years of age, current driver’s license, and acceptable driving record are required to be covered by company insurance
