Weekend Brunch Cook

Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent girls’ boarding and day school for grades 7-12, seeks a Weekend Brunch Cook. This is a part-time position.
7:00 am - 2:00 pm., Saturday and Sunday
14 hours a week. Start Date 8/31/24. Weekends off during School Vacations: including Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break in March.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production and service of brunch two mornings a week for 30-50 Boarding Students and Houseparents.
- May be asked to help with the production and service during special functions. (ex: Reunion, Family Weekends, Formal Dinners)
- Oversees that safe food prep, serving and cleaning procedures are followed by the other Dining Staff member on your shift.
Qualities and Qualifications:
- Be able to follow recipes and prepare items in a timely manner.
- Be able to maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room.
- Have good people skills.
- Be willing to work different positions or shifts when requested, for special functions, or to help fill in when others are out.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
