Join Our Team as a Cook at Adair County Health System

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our dietary department at Adair County Health System. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the success of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control
  • Requisition food and supplies as needed
  • Assume responsibility for food service department when manager and assistant are absent
  • Prepare and serve breakfast, noon meal, and A.M. and P.M. snacks
  • Make and record menu substitutions as necessary
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
  • Document temperatures of coolers, freezers, foods, and salad bar items
  • Deliver meals as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required

We offer a 36-hour work week with a 10a - 6:30p shift and every 4th weekend. This is a great opportunity to use your current skills and gain new ones alongside our caring and dedicated team.
